Self-Hypnosis

August 15, 2022

Self-hypnosis is an effective way to access the unconscious mind and bring about positive changes in your life.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how you can start self-hypnosis:

  1. Find a quiet and comfortable place where you can relax without any distractions.
  2. Sit in a comfortable position, and close your eyes and turn your attention inward, to your breath.
  3. Take a few deep breaths, using diaphragmatic breathing, and allow your body to relax completely, and with every breath out to let go even more.
  4. Focus on a specific goal or intention that you want to achieve through self-hypnosis.
  5. Imagine yourself in a peaceful and relaxing environment, such as a beach or a garden.
  6. Allow your mind and your body to become fully present into this imagined peaceful and relaxing environment, feeling the peace and the calm throughout your body, and letting your mind slow down and become calm.
  7. Visualize yourself achieving your goal or intention, and feel the positive emotions associated with it.
  8. Repeat a positive affirmation or mantra to yourself, such as “I am confident and capable” or “I am worthy of love and happiness”.
  9. Allow yourself to enter into a hypnotic state by using relaxation techniques, such as progressive muscle relaxation or guided imagery.
  10. Once you feel deeply relaxed and focused, visualize yourself achieving your goal or intention in detail, using all your senses.
  11. Repeat your affirmation or mantra several times, and imagine it becoming true.
  12. Slowly bring yourself back to the present moment, feeling refreshed and energized.
  13. Practice self-hypnosis regularly to reinforce positive changes in your life.
